​Annie Cheng (Hong Lan)

​Annie Cheng (Hong Lan) graduated from Taiwan Normal University with a Bachelor’s Degree in the English Department. She also participates in an annual Child Education Training program and CPR training every year.

​She has been teaching for more than thirty years now. Annie is passionate with her job, loves to be with kids and enjoys teaching each individual child. She believes that children need an enormous amount of care and attention to learn and develop appropriately because the core value of childhood education is a combination of education, educare and care. Not only does she supervise their play and activities, but Annie also helps them learn and socialize with each other. From an eighteen-month-old child to a three-year-old child, she emphasizes individual stage of development. In the classroom, children learn Chinese through nursery songs, activities and recite “Tang Poem” with body parts to melodic tunes to maximize physical, emotional, intellectual, and behavioral development. Children in her class are always excited to learn more everyday, and have a great balance of learning and fun.
