They should be well-organized, possess strong leadership skills, and have a solid understanding of teaching methods, legal educational procedures, and child development principles. The candidate must be willing to undergo a comprehensive background check, including fingerprinting, and be physically capable of sitting on the floor, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 40 lbs to engage with children at their level. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for working with children, parents, and colleagues. Additionally, they should regularly assess children's progress and adjust the curriculum and teaching methods as needed to support individual growth.
