Coach John has been teaching chess in the Houston area for over 11 years. During John's time with T.H. Rogers School and The Village School, both teams achieved national first place awards and numerous other awards. John believes each student has different strengths and learning styles. Thanks to John's passion for inspiring children to learn chess, he constantly seeks out robust and creative teaching methods for mastering the game. As a result, John is well equipped to find the best curriculum and training regime to meet the needs of your child.
