Chess Champions: Strategy & Skill Development Program

Fame Well School offers a comprehensive weekly chess program aimed at significantly deepening your child's understanding of the game. Students will engage in structured lessons that cover fundamental strategies, advanced tactics, and critical thinking skills. Through guided practice sessions and interactive play, they will learn to analyze positions, anticipate opponents' moves, and develop winning strategies. This program not only enhances their chess knowledge but also fosters important cognitive skills such as problem-solving, concentration, and decision-making.

​Coach John has been teaching chess in the Houston area for over 11 years. During John's time with T.H. Rogers School and The Village School, both teams achieved national first place awards and numerous other awards. John believes each student has different strengths and learning styles. Thanks to John's passion for inspiring children to learn chess, he constantly seeks out robust and creative teaching methods for mastering the game. As a result, John is well equipped to find the best curriculum and training regime to meet the needs of your child.
